This filer system is truly state of the art.  They start with the largest conical shaped high-flow air filter they can fit into an engine compartment while using the factory holes and mounting points.  The extra filter size provides even more air flow and captures and holds more dirt increasing the service lift before cleaning is required at 100,000 miles.  Next the filter is attached to a rotationally molded tube made from HDPE.  Finally the tube is connected to the engine with adapters made from silicone reinforced nylon to ensure long life.

This intake system replaces the Camaro's restrictive factory installed air filter and air intake housing.  They are designed to reduce intake resistant as they smooth and straighten the air flow.  This allows for a greater amount of air being inhaled by your engine.
